Software Project Manager
Oversees management timelines and project deliveries, monitoring whether on time and within budget and addressing the strategic business and technical requirements defined at project initiation and/or through controlled, documented scope management throughout the project delivery.
Presents project status
Identifies, schedules, and tracks to completion project deliverables, tasks, activities, and milestones.
Identifies, documents, and develops a mitigation strategy, in collaboration with sponsors, stakeholders, and solution owners, for identified project risks. For those risks realized, subsequently tracks mitigation strategies to closure for each risk that becomes an issue.
Participates in system level design analysis
Establishes and maintains communication for assigned projects and with dependent projects.
Presents project status to an executive leadership team
Ensures design practices, test methodologies, and documentation meets the requirements of internal policies and external regulations. Adhere strictly to policies and procedures associated with an FDA controlled environment.
Accountable for the technical completeness of the team’s output, and compliance with Vibrent’s Design Control and Medical software standards, such as FDA QSRs, ISO, IEC etc.
4+ years supporting development activities for software engineering solutions or comparable education (BS/BA/MS)
4+ years supporting software delivery and project management, directly managing engineers and technical staff.
Competent in software development processes including design methodologies, source code management, build management, quality process, requirements-driven development, and the defect tracking and resolution process.
Experience in software languages (e.g. Java, Objective C, C/C++), build environments (e.g. Android, iOS, Xamarin)
Experience in packaging deliveries consistent in quality and regulatory requirements for medical software
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience with PM tools like Microsoft Projects
Experience with Lifecycle management tools including tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS), Jira, Confluence, Polarion
Medical device industry experience preferred
Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
